Chicago's marketing goal is to appeal to the mass market, the lowest common denominator. The formerly great band of today is not about anything other than accumulating a lot of green paper with pictures of dead American Presidents & patriots on them.Charlie Riccihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06930103645729165149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982453.post-86430150241865027082009-11-06T13:01:28.512-06:002009-11-06T13:01:28.512-06:00interesting...interesting...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8982453.post-35599299467806169432009-11-05T23:54:14.523-06:002009-11-05T23:54:14.523-06:00Thanks for your review. The only songs I truly wish made the cut are:

-Happy Cause I'm Going Home (III)
-Now That You've Gone (V)
-If It Were You (21)
-If I Should Lose You (26)
-The Pull (SOS)

This may sound kinda strange but when I bought the box set I got rid of many of my Chicago CDs. I found that I would only listen to a handful and the Box covered many of my favorites. Of the non best of albums I kept were:

-CTA
-V
-17
-Night and Day
-SOS

Of those I only listen to V, 17, and N&D. Other than that I listen to the Box, IX, and the Hallmark Best of (which has my only real fav from XXX, Feel).

So anyway I think about this stuff way too much!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
